Potential new Corby related cases

Having helped various Corby families with their successful claim against Corby Borough Council over a decade ago as portrayed in the powerful Netflix drama Toxic Town earlier this year, we are pleased now to be supporting others in the Corby area who suspect they have also suffered due to the negligent clear-up of the former British Steel site there.

This time the issue is a cluster of blood cancer and leukemia cases and we have written to the local authority now responsible – North Northamptonshire Council – to request more information about which sites locally they have registered as contaminated land as part of our investigation of a possible link.

Our enquiries remain at an early stage. This is not yet a fully fledged legal claim but we are determined to help those who have approached us if we can.

We also invite further families to come forward if they live nearby and have a confirmed diagnosis to add to our probe.

Thank you to ITV News for bringing a spotlight on this embryonic case and to local MP Lee Barron for your backing too.
